Join KinderOncoNet

Are you a paramedic, psychologist or rehabilitation physician? We invite you to join KinderOncoNet: a multidisciplinary care network for pediatric oncology. The goal? High-quality and continuous care close to home, where knowledge and expertise come together.

Are you an employee of the Princess Máxima Center, a shared care center, or UMC Utrecht? Then choose the registration form for employees.

Who is KinderOncoNet for?

You can join KinderOncoNet if you are:

  1. a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, dietitian, speech therapist, psychologist or pediatric rehabilitation physician;

  2. supporting (or planning to support) children with cancer and/or their families during or after treatment;

  3. have completed the e-learning 'Introduction to Pediatric Oncology'. This e-learning is freely available to healthcare professionals outside the Princess Máxima Center.

  • Optional listing in the Máxima’s Care Finder, making you visible for colleagues referring a patient or for families looking for a trained healthcare professional

What do we expect from you?

  • You have an affinity with pediatric oncology

  • You are qualified in your field and, where applicable, registered in the BIG register

  • In the past two years, you have treated one or more children with cancer, survivors, or family members of children with cancer

  • You have completed the e-learning “Introduction to Pediatric Oncology” and are willing to deepen your knowledge further, depending on the needs of patients

  • You are willing to participate in at least one network or training activity from the Princess Máxima Center every two years

  • You are open to multidisciplinary collaboration with colleagues at the Princess Máxima Center, shared care centers and/or other relevant healthcare professionals

  • You pay a contribution of €50 every two calendar years. This covers administrative costs, quality system service costs, access to the learning portal, e-learning training costs, and the updating and development of trainings (excluding employees of the Princess Máxima Center, shared care centers and UMC Utrecht).
