Ukrainian children with cancer welcomed

Twenty-five Ukrainian children with cancer and their parents/guardians arrived on Monday March 14. Everyone has shelter and the treatments will start soon. This relief campaign was organized and successfully coordinated by the team of the International office.

With special flight from Poland the children and their parents/caretakers travelled to the Princess Máxima Center in Utrecht, accompanied by a professional team of doctors and nurses. After being welcomed and having a medical check, the children and their parents went to a host family. In the coming days, they will travel from their host families to the Princess Máxima Center for their treatments.
