International Patients

As one of the big centres for pediatric oncology, we aspire to look beyond our national borders. We do this by collaborating worldwide with other groups and centres to improve cancer treatments and to do even better research.

We are providing highly specialised care for all Dutch pediatric cancer patients. Over the past years, the Máxima Center has developed and widened its expertise in specific fields such as 131I-MIBG therapy, complex surgery, CAR-T cells, allogeneic stem cell therapy, early phase clinical trials and brachytherapy for patients with sarcoma. We are therefore offering these treatments and studies to children from abroad, who are unable to access these in their home countries. Here's why we do it.
